Pierre Kalulu has admitted that a conversation with Thiago Motta helped convince him to join Juventus during the summer transfer window.
Heading into the summer there wasn’t too much speculation about Kalulu leaving Milan, but then the signing of Strahinja Pavlovic seemed to push him towards the exit door.
Juventus took an interest and a deal was eventually worked out after early suggestions that the Frenchman was unsure about the move. Since then, he has consistently started for the Old Lady, given Gleison Bremer’s injury.
The Bianconeri have a €14m option to buy built into the deal and it seems that will become a formality within the next few months, which might leave Milan with a tinge of regret.
Kalulu gave an interview to DAZN in which he spoke about his decision to join the Bianconeri in the summer mercato, with his comments relayed by MilanPress.
