Liverpool have a tough test coming up in the Champions League on Wednesday night as they travel to take on Eintracht Frankfurt away from home.
The Reds could do with picking up three points after a mixed start to their European campaign, having won at home to Atletico Madrid in their first fixture but then losing away to Galatasaray in their second.
Hugo Ekitike will be up against the club he left to join Liverpool this summer, and it’s sure to be an intriguing contest for other reasons as well, so be sure not to miss out.

Ekitike may well be preparing to take on his former club, but will he actually make Arne Slot’s starting line up on the night?
Liverpool signed the Frenchman early in the summer, and he’s started brightly at Anfield, though of course the Merseyside giants then made a late move to bring in Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.
Apart from that, Slot also has a decision to make at right-back, with Dominik Szoboszlai largely filling in there despite it not being his best position, with Jeremie Frimpong having some issues with both fitness and form so far since his summer move from Bayer Leverkusen.
Speaking of fitness, one obvious absentee is the injured Alisson Becker in goal, as well as Ibrahima Konate, so this clearly won’t be Liverpool’s best XI.
See below for our best guess at how Liverpool could line up for this game…
Liverpool predicted line up: Mamardashvili; Frimpong, Robertson, Van Dijk, Gomez; Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai; Salah, Isak, Gakpo.

LFC fans will likely be aware that the club’s official ticket page can be found here, but they will likely also have had the frustrating experience that is often associated with dealing directly with the club.
Season ticket holders and club members will be ahead in the queue, and that’s pretty expensive, so we’d highly recommend our alternative here to beat the queues and skip those extra costs.
Likewise, you can find Eintracht Frankfurt tickets on their official website here, but there’s no guarantee that you’ll get to the game.
Instead, why not try our alternative here to boost your chances of making it to the match without the cost and hassle of membership fees.
Somewhat surprisingly, this is another Champions League fixture that the new league phase has thrown up that hasn’t actually happened many times in the past.
These two teams have only met twice in a competitive fixture, and that was all the way back in 1972 in the Europa League.
Liverpool won 2-0 at home and it finished 0-0 away, so the Reds have never lost against these opponents. Can they maintain that record next week? Let us know your predictions in the comments!
