The ball rolls into the Weser Stadium in just under an hour: FC Bayern visit Werder Bremen on the 22nd Bundesliga matchday. We bring you the starting line-ups for the game.
After the 2-0 win in the DFB Cup against RB Leipzig, SV Werder Bremen await Vincent Kompany’s team just a few days later. The record champions will be looking to maintain their six-point lead over Borussia Dortmund at the sixteenth-placed Weser side. Vincent Kompany’s starting line-up is a surprise.
Kompany now has almost a full complement of players to choose from again. All the professionals in the FC Bayern squad are fit, with only Michael Olise missing due to a yellow card suspension. The Belgian is therefore spoilt for choice with his starting line-up, giving some of his top stars a well-deserved break after the exhausting cup match against Leipzig.

As usual, Manuel Neuer is in goal, with Jonathan Tah and Minjae Kim defending in front of him in central defense. Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanisic start on the flanks.
In central midfield, Kompany will rely on Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka. In attack, Lennart Karl, Luis Diaz and Serge Gnabry will start in the playmaker position, with Harry Kane forming the striker line.
Werder Bremen: to follow shortly
FC Bayern: Neuer – Stanisic, Tah, M.-J. Kim, Laimer – Kimmich, Goretzka – Karl, Gnabry, Luis Diaz – Kane
