Sunderland unveiled their 2026/27 away strip on Friday without a goalkeeper shirt, after changing their release plan. According to Sunderland Echo, the club will stage a separate goalkeeper launch in July.
The goalkeeper range will carry a distinct design, separate from home, away and third outfield drops.
The pink and black away strip opens a multi-year tie-up with the Elvis Presley estate, with this first edition honouring his early breakthrough.
The shirt is on sale without a front-of-shirt sponsor while talks continue for 2026/27. Sunderland struck a one-year deal with Asian gambling firm W88 last season, but that cannot be renewed as a Premier League ban on front-of-shirt betting sponsors comes in this summer.
Interim CEO Tom Burwell, working with Chief Commercial Officer Scott McCubbin, has been running the search and is confident of landing improved terms on last season’s W88 agreement. Fans can buy the away shirt sponsor-free all season, with the option to add the new partner in club shops once announced.
