Wolverhampton relegated to the Championship after West Ham draw at Crystal Palace

Wolverhampton were officially relegated to the Championship after West Ham’s 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace on Monday, which closed out matchweek 33 at Selhurst Park.

According to L'Équipe, Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League on 17 points and their fate is now mathematically sealed.

Rob Edwards’ side had already been on the brink after their 22nd defeat of the season, a 0-3 loss to Leeds on Saturday. The point West Ham claimed in south London confirmed the drop.

Wolves are 16 points adrift of safety with five matches to play, so survival is no longer possible.

They have won only three games all season and will return to the Championship, eight years after their last spell in the second tier.
