According to ExpressAndStar.com, Wolves 1877 Trust issued a stark post-relegation statement, saying the future is "not bright or clear" and urging club leaders to learn from mistakes. Relegation, after a campaign spent entirely in the bottom three, was sealed by defeat to Leeds and West Ham’s draw with Crystal Palace.

Chairman Nathan Shi said the club was "ready to respond" in pursuit of an immediate return. The Trust cautioned that only one in four relegated sides come straight back and laid out priorities to change course.

It said a double drop must be avoided at all costs and urged consultation with figures from the 2011/12 and 2012/13 slump. It warned against appointing senior football staff lacking English experience or replacing domestically seasoned players with newcomers untested in England.

The Trust argued the club is back where Fosun started, yet in some ways worse off, citing 10 years of stadium dilapidation, strained supporter relations and a marginalised council. It added that confidence in Fosun has, for some, collapsed, with opinions split between a second chance and a sale.

Off the pitch, it pressed for previously promised ticket cuts, saying pricing had kept Molineux short of full and flattened the atmosphere. It welcomed a forthcoming fan forum after former chairman Jeff Shi’s exit, but said more is needed, and applauded Wolves Women, who could go up to Women’s Super League two this weekend after a trip to Halifax.
