Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, a 64-goal cult hero, later won a court case over surgery after his leg break. Carl Ikeme entered remission from leukaemia in 2018 and retired, then won the British Open and a European bronze in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Steven Fletcher left for Sunderland, later helped Wrexham win promotion to the Championship, and has since retired. He now works as a pundit and runs a YouTube golf channel. Anthony Forde plays for Altrincham.
