Wolves have confirmed Vítor Pereira as their new manager/head coach.
Pereira takes the reins at Molineux on an 18-month contract after Gary O'Neil's dismissal last weekend amid a four-game Premier League losing streak.
The Portuguese coach left his post at Al-Shabab, ending a 10-month spell back in the Saudi Pro League, to join the relegation-threatened Old Gold.
Per quotes from the club's official site, chairman Jeff Shi welcomed the 56-year-old, stating "Vitor is a highly respected and experienced coach who has achieved success across different leagues and will bring a new approach for the test ahead."
Sporting director Matt Hobbs also chimed in; "His personality, desire, and leadership qualities stood out to us during this process, and we’re excited to see how he applies his expertise here at Wolves."
Wolves travel to fellow strugglers Leicester City on Saturday.
