Wolves appear to have turned a corner as they've taken an early lead against West Ham in the Premier League.

The two clubs remain locked in a relegation battle at the bottom end of the table, but it is Rob Edwards' side who came into this game without a win in any of their 19 previous games.

However, they got off to the perfect start against the Hammers at Molineux on Saturday afternoon as summer signing Jhon Arias finally got off the mark with his first goal for the club, and in doing so became the first Colombian to score for Wolves.

Not only that, the early strike inside the opening five minutes also means the Midlands club have taken the lead in a league game for the first time since October 5.

The last time they did so was against Brighton when Bart Verbruggen scored an own-goal, but on that occasion Wolves went on to concede a late equaliser.

Can Edwards' side avoid a similar outcome this time around and finally go on to secure their first league win of the campaign?

It appears they're on track to do so as they made it two before half-time courtesy of a penalty from Hwang Hee-chan, making it only the third time this season they have scored more than once in a Premier League game.
