Big decisions await at Molineux as Wolves plan for the Championship, with nine loanees and their contracts under review.
ExpressAndStar.com reports the rebuild began in January and relegation was confirmed weeks ago. After the Brighton defeat, Rob Edwards said some players need to go.
Nasser Djiga, a £10m January 2025 arrival, spent last season at Rangers, playing 40 times, and has four years left on a five-year deal. Ki-Jana Hoever joined Sheffield United in January after eight Wolves outings, made six starts and 10 substitute appearances, and returns with one year remaining. Nigel Lonwijk enjoyed a successful spell at Luton Town with 34 League One starts and won the EFL Trophy, but he is out of contract this summer.
Tommy Doyle, a £5m signing from City, had 19 starts and 19 substitute appearances at Birmingham City and has two years left. Marshall Munetsi moved to Paris FC in January, scored four in 14 league games, and is contracted until 2028.
Boubacar Traore, whose last Wolves appearance came in April last year, started 16 times on loan at Metz and has one year left. Tawanda Chirewa made two Wolves cameos before joining Barnsley, and returns after injury with a year remaining.
Fer Lopez returned to Celta Vigo in January, scored twice in 20 outings including a superb strike in Europe, and is tied to Wolves until 2030.
Sasa Kalajdzic put a run together at LASK after two Wolves games, hitting six in 24, and has a year left on his deal.
