Wolves are in real trouble in the Premier League. Five games in and they’re still pointless, the only team yet to get off the mark this season. At Molineux, they fell 3-1 to Leeds United, missing yet another chance to turn things around.

The game started well for Wolves. Just seven minutes in, Ladislav Krejci gave them the lead with a thumping left-footed strike past Karl Darlow. It looked like the goal might spark a comeback, but Leeds quickly showed why they’re a tough side to break down.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin levelled things up in the 30th minute with a neat header from a perfect cross.

Just eight minutes later, Anton Stach curled in a free-kick to put the visitors ahead, and Noah Okafor made it 3-1 just before half-time with a quick counter and a clinical finish, leaving José Sá with no chance.

Wolves tried to respond after the break, with Emmanuel Agbadou, Jørgen Strand Larsen, and Tolu Arokodare all coming close. But Darlow was up to the task, keeping Leeds in control.

Despite some decent pressure, Wolves couldn’t find a way through, continuing a miserable start to the season and confirming their worst-ever opening in the Premier League.
