Mateus Mane matched a Cristiano Ronaldo record with a thumping strike in Wolves’ final home game of the season against Fulham.
The 18-year-old put Rob Edwards’ side ahead midway through the first half, drilling a right-footed effort from the edge of the box beyond Bernd Leno.
In doing so, the Wolves teenager became only the second Portuguese teenager to score three or more from outside the box in a single Premier League season, after Ronaldo in 2003/04, with both on three.
It was Mane’s third Premier League goal of the season and his first in the league since scoring against Everton in January.
Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, scored 103 goals and supplied 37 assists in 236 Premier League appearances for Manchester United.
