Transfer talk across the Midlands is gathering pace, with Wolves linked to a defensive buyback and a move for Che Adams.

Record reports that Wolves are keeping tabs on former 20-year-old centre-back Bastien Meupiyou after an impressive season with Alverca. He joined from Nantes in 2024, featured mainly for the under-21s, then moved to Portugal and has appeared in Portugal’s top flight. The report adds Wolves have a buyback clause and other clubs are tracking him.
