Sunderland visit Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday, and are likely to stick with the same squad. According to Sunderland Echo, three wide players are now stepping up their returns.

Jocelin Ta Bi is the closest to a comeback and could make the bench if his week goes well. The winger, once thought out for the season with an ankle issue, was back on the grass last week and is aiming for full training. Manchester United at the Stadium of Light currently looks the likelier target.

Bertrand Traoré and Nilson Angulo hope to begin part training this week, with a return as soon as Saturday considered unlikely. Both are expected to feature before the run-in concludes. Ta Bi has already joined some initial sessions and reported positive signs.

Romaine Mundle remains out following hamstring surgery and is not expected to play again this season.

Wolves are set to welcome defender Yerson Mosquera back from suspension after his 10th booking in the 4-0 defeat to West Ham led to a two-game ban, ruling him out against Leeds United and Spurs. A regular for most of the campaign, a swift return to the line-up on Saturday would not surprise.

Fellow centre back Ladislav Krejčí is a doubt after a neck problem kept him out at Spurs. He has done some straight-line work but the area remains very sore and there is no clear timeframe.

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is set to miss the rest of the campaign with injury, so Jose Sa is likely to start after overcoming a minor issue to face Spurs.
