The group stage at Women’s Euro 2025 has come to an end, and ahead of the quarter-finals we take a look at which are players are leading the key stats so far in Switzerland.

Most goals at Women’s Euro 2025

According to the bookmakers’ odds, Spain star Esther Gonzalez is the favourite to win the Golden Boot award this summer.

The Gotham FC striker scored in each of Spain’s three group games, including a brace against Portugal. She needs just two goals to match the record for most goals by a player at a single Women’s Euros tournament.

However, she faces competition from her teammate Alexia Putellas who is only one goal behind going into the quarter-finals.

There are 12 players on two goals, of which, 11 are still in contention of winning the Golden Boot.

That list includes Georgia Stanway, Ella Toone, and Lauren James.

Most assists at Women’s Euro 2025

Alexia Putellas might not be leading the Golden Boot race, but she is the stats leader in terms of assists at Women’s Euro 2025.

The 31-year-old is a leading contender to be named Player of the Tournament as she has three more goal involvements than any other player at the tournament.

Many expected Alessia Russo to be a contender for the Golden Boot, but she was only able to notch up on one goal from the opening three games – after having two disallowed.

Russo is one of three players who are just one assist behind Putellas though, along with Kosovare Asllani and Vilde Boe Risa.

There are also 12 players with two assists including Ella Toone.

Most attempts on target

One player who will feel unlucky that she doesn’t have more goals is Spain’s Claudia Pina.

The Barcelona star has just one goal at Euro 2025 despite having the most shots on target. Out of her seven shots at the tourmanent, six have been on target.

Behind her are five players, including Golden Boot leader Esther Gonzalez and Alexia Putellas.

Most shots off target

Alexia Putellas is second in the Golden Boot race but could be top if it were not for being the stats leader for most shots off target at Women’s Euro 2025.

In total, seven of her 12 shots have been off target during Spain’s opening three games in Switzerland.

Alessia Russo and Lauren James are among six players with five shots off target.

Spain midfielder Patri has enjoyed a stunning tournament at Euro 2025 and scored in the 3-1 win over Italy.

She is also the stats leader at Women’s Euro 2025 in terms of passes completed.

Patri has 249 completed passes at Euro 2025 – 35 ahead of the next best player.

According to the UK’s top betting sites, Spain are favourites to win Euro 2025. So it would be no surprise to see Patri extend her lead between now and the end of the tournament.

Germany star Klara Buhl has been dangerous from out wide during Women’s Euro 2025.

She might not have a goal or assist to her name, but she is doing her best to set up her Germany teammates.

In total, she has 37 completed crosses, nearly double the amount of the next best player.

Arsenal and Switzerland star Lia Walti and Sweden’s Nathalie Bjorn have completed the most ball recoveries at Euro 2025 with 26 apiece.

England’s Alex Greenwood is in the top five, three behind Walti and Bjorn.

Women’s Euro 2025 most tackles

Chelsea midfielder Sjoeke Nusken has been one of Germany’s most effective players at Euro 2025.

The 24-year-old – who was named vice-captain after Giulia Gwinn’s injury – has made the joint-most tackles alongside Jackie Groenen of the Netherlands.

England midfielder Georgia Stanway is in the top five with 13 tackles across England’s opening three games.

Most fouls committed

Elisa Senß is lucky not to get a booking at Euro 2025 given that she has committed the most fouls out of any player.

The Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder has committed eight fouls in three games, ahead of Iceland’s Sandra Jessen on seven.
