World Cup 2026 call-ups from Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National

Didier Deschamps has named 26 players for France’s 2026 World Cup squad, with eight from Ligue 1. The tournament runs from 11 June to 19 July in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
According to L'Équipe, five come from PSG, Lucas Hernandez, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué, joined by goalkeepers Brice Samba of Rennes and Robin Risser of Lens, plus Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche.
Beyond France, several national teams have called up players based in France this season. From PSG, Lee Kang-in will represent South Korea and Khalil Ayari is with Tunisia. Lens’s Nidal Celik is with Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Lille’s Thomas Meunier, Nathan Ngoy and Matias Fernandez-Pardo are with Belgium.
Monaco’s Simon Adingra is in Côte d’Ivoire’s squad. Strasbourg have Guéla Doué for Côte d’Ivoire and Belgians Mike Penders and Diego Moreira, while Angers’ Carlens Arcus is with Haiti. Lorient’s Montassar Talbi is with Tunisia, Nice’s Elye Wahi with Côte d’Ivoire and Ali Abdi with Tunisia, Le Havre’s Ayumu Seko with Japan, and Auxerre’s Clément Akpa and Josué Casimir with Côte d’Ivoire and Haiti.
From Ligue 2, Saint-Étienne’s Ben Old is with New Zealand, Reims’ Keito Nakamura with Japan, Nancy’s Martin Expérience and Bastia’s Johny Placide with Haiti. In National, Sochaux’s Alexandre Pierre is also with Haiti. The list will be updated as further squads are confirmed.
