The World Cup group stage is taking shape, with leaders emerging across Groups A to L and key fixtures set. According to Globo.com, this is the latest on standings and what comes next.
Mexico lead Group A on six, South Korea three, Czech Republic and South Africa one, with the final round on 24 June featuring South Africa v South Korea and Czech Republic v Mexico. Canada and Switzerland each have four and meet on 24 June, with Bosnia v Qatar the same day.
Scotland top Group C, with Scotland v Morocco and Brazil v Haiti today. United States beat Australia 2-0 to lead Group D on six, and Türkiye face Paraguay on 20 June.
Germany started with a 7-1 and lead Group E, Ivory Coast also won, with Germany v Ivory Coast and Ecuador v Curaçao on 20 June. Sweden beat Tunisia 5-1, Japan drew 2-2 with Netherlands, then Netherlands v Sweden on 20 June and Tunisia v Japan on 21 June.
Groups G and H are all square after opening draws. On 21 June, Belgium v Iran and New Zealand v Egypt, plus Spain v Saudi Arabia and Uruguay v Cape Verde.
Norway and France opened with wins and return on 22 June, France v Iraq and Norway v Senegal. Argentina face Austria in Dallas on 22 June, and Jordan meet Algeria on 23 June.
Colombia lead Group K, with Portugal v Uzbekistan and Colombia v RD Congo on 23 June. England top Group L and play Ghana on 23 June. Lionel Messi and Jonathan David head the scorers with three.
