World Cup fever in Salzburg: Official Public Viewing at the Red Bull Arena

Salzburg will be all about football in the summer of 2026: Together with the City of Salzburg, FC Red Bull Salzburg is hosting a big public viewing event for the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the Red Bull Arena, and making a statement for the entire region!

Argentina vs. Austria

When the Austrian national team faces reigning World Cup Winners Argentina on the second matchday of the World Cup group stage, World Cup fever will have truly arrived in Salzburg. Together with the City of Salzburg, we are inviting all fans to the Red Bull Arena to experience this big match together at the public viewing event.

Two large LED screens will be set up next to the pitch, while the entire west stand will be used as a viewing area – a unique setting that will create an extraordinary atmosphere for the evening.

The Red Bull Arena opens at 17:00 and can accommodate up to 2,500 visitors. Kick-off is at 19:00 CEST, and the match will be broadcast live on ServusTV and ServusTV On.

We can also offer ideal travel arrangements for getting to the stadium: our stadium offers ample parking, excellent public transport connections, and plenty of bicycle parking right on site.

Together for Salzburg: Club and city united

This public viewing event is an official City of Salzburg event, organized in partnership with FC Red Bull Salzburg.

Our club is not only the host but is also handling the complete organisation of the event, therefore creating the foundation for a high-quality experience and underscoring its role as a responsible partner for the city and its residents.
