According to L'Équipe, the Norway v England World Cup quarter-final, set for Saturday at 23:00 in France, could face a kick-off delay because of thunderstorms forecast in Florida.

On Friday in Miami it was very muggy, 34°, with 70% humidity, although no showers were threatening.

Forecasts suggest violent storms could break on Saturday around 17:00 local time, 23:00 in France, which is the scheduled start in the Floridian city.

In line with its protocol, FIFA is therefore considering the possibility of pushing back the kick-off.

England’s previous match, a 3-2 win at the Azteca last Sunday, began an hour late because of bad weather.
