All the latest transfer news surrounding Wrexham
Wrexham are in the mix for promotion to the Premier League in their first year in the Championship.
The Red Dragons have enjoyed a rapid rise up the English football pyramid in recent years, going from the National League to the second tier with three consecutive promotions.
Phil Parkinson’s side now have their sights set on a remarkable fourth promotion in a row, with the club just a point outside the play-off places after 26 games played.
The January transfer window could prove crucial to helping the Welsh outfit get over the line, as it offers them a chance to make additions to the first team squad.
Here we take a look at all the latest transfer news surrounding Wrexham, with the market open until 2 February…

Wrexham are among the clubs chasing the signature of Hampus Skoglund this January.
According to Football Insider, the Red Dragons face competition for the Hammarby defender from German side Mainz.
It’s believed that the full-back could be signed for £2.6 million, but it remains to be seen whether they can convince him to join the Championship side.
It’s understood that Mainz are leading the chase for his signature, but no official decision has yet been made regarding the next step in his career.

Wrexham forward Paul Mullin had his loan spell with Wigan Athletic terminated at the start of the month after he had scored four times from 20 appearances in League One.
Parkinson has opened up on the player’s return to the Championship side, suggesting that a discussion over his immediate future will be held when he returns to training this week.
The 31-year-old has missed a few days, and will now be reintegrated back into the first team before any decision is made next on where his career will go from here.
"Mulls' loan spell has been terminated," said Parkinson, via the BBC.
"We'll have a chat with him this week when he comes back in.
“He needs to train this week as he's missed a few days of training."

According to Alan Nixon, Wrexham are lining up a record-breaking bid for a top European striker at a cost of potentially £14 million.
The Red Dragons are believed to be keeping things quiet behind the scenes as they work on getting this deal over the line.
But the Welsh outfit are willing to match wage offers that he’s received elsewhere in a bid to improve their forward options.
It will be hoped that this forward will boost their promotion chances, should the deal get over the line.

Josh Windass has earned transfer interest from his former club Rangers this January after a promising first half of the campaign at Wrexham.
But, according to Football Insider, the Red Dragons have no interest in sanctioning his departure from the Racecourse Ground.
The attacking midfielder joined in the summer following his exit from Sheffield Wednesday, arriving as a free agent.
He has so far contributed seven goals and three assists from 22 appearances in the league for Parkinson’s side, and it’s believed that Wrexham are keen for him to remain at the club for the second half of the term.
