Yan Diomandé, Leipzig's 19-year-old Ivorian winger shining at the World Cup, has told Paris Saint-Germain he wants to join this summer, according to The Athletic.

For PSG, securing the player's clear intention is a prerequisite before any negotiations.

Liverpool have already made an approach to Leipzig, but the winger has chosen to prioritise PSG for his future.

With his stance set, Paris are ready to accelerate, mirroring their push for Maghnes Akliouche, and will try to conclude a deal quickly.

If completed, the arrivals of Diomandé and Akliouche would help offset the exits of Gonçalo Ramos and Lee Kang-in.
