Newcastle United's midfield maestro Sandro Tonali secured their UEFA's Player of the Match award on Wednesday evening - and the Magpies' faithful have also crowned him their star man in our post-match poll.

The Italian has scooped the award with 44% of the vote, narrowly beating goalscorer Dan Burn [39%] into second spot.

Joelinton, who scored the second goal of the evening for Eddie Howe's men, came third with 14% and goalkeeper Nick Pope picked up 3% after a few early saves.

Tonali continues to go from strength to strength this season, impressing fans with his consistency in the middle of the park.
