Pride and character weren't enough for Inter on their home debut in the UEFA Youth League 2025/26, coming close to a first win in the competition but being drawn level late on. At the KONAMI Football Centre, the Nerazzurri, following falling behind to a goal in the 39th minute, played brilliantly in the second half and pulled one back in the 48th minute through Zouin, before going ahead through Lavelli's wonder strike. In stoppage time, Carbone's side suffered as a result of a late equaliser from Naskos.

A bitter ending but good signs for Inter, who got into action in the sixth minute as El Mahboubi tried to play Kalinin in twice. The match lit up early on, at the half-hour mark Slavia had the chance to go ahead through Slončík but Marello flagged him for offside. Both sides found space and prove dangerous, but Slavia Praha made it count. A low cross from Potmesil was turned into his own net by Ballo, who was trying to mark Pikolon. Inter's proud reaction came through Lavelli's chance but then materialised through Zouin's goal, who was assisted by Zarate to make it 1-1. Shortly after the hour mark, thanks also to Thao’s sharp reflexes, Inter took the lead with a piece of brilliance from Lavelli. The number nine won the ball back, skipped past Naskos, and beat Kalanin for 2–1, a score that held until the very last action of the match. In the 91st minute, after Vukoje hit the bar, Naskos was sent through on goal and slotted the equaliser home to make it 2-2.
