Yuri Alberto has suffered a grade 2 injury to the left biceps femoris, his ninth medical issue since joining Corinthians in June 2022. Typical recovery windows for such cases range from three to eight weeks, depending on clinical progress.

According to Meu Timao, it is the 10th medical occurrence of his career, nine at Corinthians and one at Internacional. The longest absence so far was 62 days after a fracture of the right L1 transverse process.

In 2021 with Internacional he sustained bone oedema in his left foot against Cuiabá, missing 10 days. His first Corinthians setback came in the 2024 Paulista derby, a rib fissure after a heavy challenge by defender Murilo, yet he returned in eight days.

In April 2024 he was diagnosed with tendinitis in the left biceps femoris and was back after two weeks, scoring against Nacional of Paraguay in the Sudamericana. In August he underwent surgery to remove gallstones, a 24-day lay-off, returning before an initial September target.

In November 2024 he had his first muscular problem at Corinthians, a grade 1B posterior thigh issue, and missed nine days. In 2025 he left a match against Atlético-MG with severe lumbar pain, with scans the next day confirming the L1 fracture.

Later in 2025 he was sidelined for 29 days with an inguinal hernia, plus 13 days with a groin issue and 10 days for inflammation of the left adductor. The new problem involves the same region as his 2024 tendinitis.
