16-year-old striker Bastian Assomo scored his second pre-season goal for FC Bayern in their 2-1 victory over Jeju SK in South Korea. The Rekordmeister took the lead through Felipe Chavez, who netted twice against Rottach-Egern, in the 11th minute.

Lee Chang-Min equalized for the hosts before Assomo restored Bayern’s lead as all goals came in the first-half. South Korean international Kim Min-Jae played the first 35 minutes as he captained the side.

Luis Díaz, Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić made their first appearances as late substitutes, while the four Germany internationals played the last half hour. Assomo scored his goal from the edge of the box with a brilliant finish as he continued to push for a place in next season’s first-team squad.

FC Bayern will continue their Asia Tour with a trip to Hong Kong, where they will play against Europa League winners Aston Villa on August 7th.
