Ademola Lookman only wants to join Inter Milan, who are hoping to avoid a “Koopmeiners to Juventus” style transfer saga.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
This week, bombshell reports emerged regarding Inter Milan’s interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
The Nerazzurri have already agreed terms with the Nigerian. He is ready to sign a five-year deal worth €4 million net per season, while Inter benefit from the Growth Decree on his salary.
Moreover, the Corriere confirm, Lookman has made his preference crystal clear. He wants to join Inter Milan, and will reject other suitors.

For their part, Atalanta would be more than willing to release Lookman this summer.
La Dea had resisted Paris Saint-Germain’s efforts to sign the former RB Leipzig and Fulham forward last summer.
Therefore, it is widely understood that Atalanta promised Lookman that this summer would be different. They will give him the move that he is seeking.
Lookman’s representatives have told Inter that the price tag for such a transfer would be €40 million.
Therefore, that is what Inter have offered Atalanta. Not a euro more or less.
Nevertheless, Atalanta have rejected Inter’s initial offer. They are seeking somewhere in the region of €50 million to let go of Lookman this summer.
Therefore, there could be a risk of another transfer saga like that of midfielder Teun Koopmeiners to Juventus last summer.
Atalanta had clearly told Koopmeiners that they would sell him last summer. However, negotiations with Juventus for the Dutchman dragged on for weeks.
That is something that Inter are hoping to avoid, however.
The Nerazzurri have gotten the ball rolling in talks with Atalanta by making their first official bid. There was a phone call yesterday where the clubs laid out their respective stances.
Now, Inter will push to move things along swiftly so they can sign Lookman for next season.
