Sunderland are shaping their summer window as they aim to build on a strong Premier League return.
According to Sunderland Echo, they could again seek value overseas after Noah Sadiki and Habib Diarra impressed in year one on Wearside. Championship options are also being considered, with five names highlighted.
Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga, 16, made 29 senior appearances and is an England Under-19 international. With Leicester set for League One, he will not be in the Championship next term and patience would be needed.
Millwall forward Mihailo Ivanovic, 21, has nine goals and impact beyond the numbers, offering potential cover for Brian Brobbey. He could be a Premier League player next season if the Lions complete promotion.
Swansea City's Zan Vipotnik, a Slovenia international, has 23 goals in 43 league matches and is among the most clinical in the division. Rival interest is likely and a sizeable fee may be needed, but he could fit the bill.
Sheffield United midfielder Ollie Arblaster has returned from a serious cruciate ligament injury and has 21 appearances in all competitions. Before the setback he was viewed as one of the division's most talented midfielders, and he retains significant potential.
Queens Park Rangers' Harvey Vale left Chelsea on a free in February last year after loans at Hull City and Bristol Rovers. The Republic of Ireland international has four goals and 19 assists in 31 appearances, troubling many Championship full-backs.
