The FA Cup final, Derby della Capitale, and a Scottish Premiership title decider for the ages feature in our five best football fixtures to watch this weekend.
The race for Champions League football in France, with two points between three sides in the race for third. Lyon sit fourth as things stand and cannot afford a slip-up against a Lens team already assured of their place in the competition.
Kick-off: 8pm BST, Sunday 17th May
Aston Villa and Liverpool collide in Friday night football at Villa Park. With nothing to split the teams in the Premier League table, it’s a straight shootout for Champions League football. The winners will celebrate qualification to the tournament, while the losers could find themselves under real pressure on the final day.
Kick-off: 8pm, Friday 15th May
Where to watch: Sky Sports.
Chelsea and Manchester City meet in the FA Cup final on Saturday. The Cityzens aim to complete leg two of a potential domestic treble, having beaten Arsenal at Wembley to claim the League Cup earlier in the campaign.
For Chelsea, form is against them, with the Blues winless in seven in the Premier League. Chelsea have also lost their last six cup finals at Wembley, a record the underdogs need to end.
Kick-off: 3pm BST, Saturday 16th May
Where to watch: The game will be shown live in the UK on BBC One and TNT Sports.
The Italian capital will come to a standstill this weekend as Roma and Lazio do battle in the Derby della Capitale.
Roma must win to keep alive hopes of Champions League football, and Lazio will know a positive result for them can all but end their arch-rival’s hopes. That will be sure to add even more motivation.
Kick-off: 11:00am BST, Sunday 17th May
Where to watch: Sky Sports.
It all comes down to this. Hearts have the chance to end the 40-year duopoly of Celtic and Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and the Edinburgh side will be champions if they avoid defeat at Celtic Park.
Lose, however, and Celtic will reclaim the throne at their expense. Amid the midweek drama of a controversial Celtic penalty at Motherwell, even more spice has been added to this. Not, of course, that it needed it. A massive game.
Kick-off: 12:30pm BST, Saturday 16th May
Where to watch: Sky Sports Main Event.
