An agent has now confirmed that his client is leaving Chelsea this window with a transfer expected within 48 hours time.
It’s not too often that you will get an agent come out and confirm such big news before anything else is seemingly advanced or been made official, but that is what has happened this afternoon as we enter the last six days of the summer transfer window being open.
There’s been loads of stories going around about clubs being interested in signing Nicolas Jackson, and a move to Bayern Munich seemingly became even more possible yesterday after some developments.
But one important source claimed earlier today that it is actually Aston Villa who are in pole position to sign the surplus to requirements Chelsea striker this window.
But it looks like wherever Jackson ends up is going to be unclear for just two more days, because his agent has confirmed that he is definitely leaving Chelsea this week.

Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, has been quoted as saying today:
“30 goals in two seasons, without a single penalty. Highs, lows… but a page is turning at the Blues. Always grateful for yesterday, but already looking toward tomorrow, with optimism.
“Germany, Italy, England: the options are numerous, the decision is imminent. Thank you for the support, we see your messages…
“Nicolas Jackson, transfer expected within 48 hours, in shaa Allah…”
He’s certainly not been the best ever players to play for Chelsea in our time or even close to it, but he’s done OK in a Chelsea shirt overall and took some harsh criticism during his time here.
I wish him all the luck in the world at his next club, but I think the time is right to part ways for all parties involved.
