The Rossoneri have been one of the most organised defensive sides in the league this season, conceding only 20 goals in 28 matches.
They have also been particularly strong on the road, currently ranking second in the Serie A away table with 32 points from 14 matches. Milan are the only team in the league that has not suffered an away defeat so far this season.
Milan will be without a few players for the trip to Rome. Defender Matteo Gabbia and midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek remain sidelined as they continue their recovery from surgery.
Midfielder Adrien Rabiot is also unavailable after picking up too many yellow cards and serving a suspension for this match. As a result, Ardon Jashari is expected to step into the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, striker Santiago Gimenez is a doubt due to an ankle issue, although he has recently returned to training with the squad.
In the attack, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are both fit and are expected to start. The duo have been Milan’s most productive attackers this season, with Leao scoring nine goals and Pulisic contributing eight.
Manager Massimiliano Allegri has stressed the need for consistency in the final part of the campaign, saying the team must focus on securing a Champions League place while continuing to keep pressure on Inter in the Serie A title race.
Possible AC Milan starting XI: Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Jashari, Estupinan; Pulisic, Leao
The match will kick off at 7:45pm BST on Sunday, 15th March.
In the United Kingdom, the match will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and DAZN.
