Achraf Hakimi’s agent opens door to Real Madrid move | OneFootball

Achraf Hakimi (27) has become a key member of Paris Saint-Germain’s squad. Part of the leadership group, he recently finished inside the top 10 of the Ballon d’Or and also won the African Player of the Year for the first time in his career. 

The Morocco international is currently injured, following Luís Diaz’s tackle back at the start of the month. However, the PSG defender is looking to return to participate in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which is taking place in his native Morocco.

At club level, his situation looks settled. The 27-year-old signed a contract extension at the start of this year, which runs until 2029. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that he will see out that deal. Earlier in his career, Hakimi played for Real Madrid, and his agent has not ruled out a return to his former club. 

“He is happy at PSG,” began his agent, Alejandro Camano began in an interview with Sport Mediaset. “But in football, nothing is impossible, and Real Madrid is his home, where he started with the youth teams.”
