Adam Armstrong could leave Southampton in this transfer window, with fresh doubt over his future at St Mary's.
According to Sainstmarching.com, Adam Armstrong is open to a move and a transfer could happen before the deadline. He is the Championship’s joint leading goalscorer.
Southampton are in the lower half of the table and have not won for seven games.
He joined in 2021 from Blackburn Rovers and struggled in the Premier League under Ralph Hasenhüttl. Many supporters view him as a strong Championship forward, and he hit 21 in 2023/24.
Three more in the play-offs and a Wembley winner against Leeds United sealed hero status, especially for younger fans.
Speculation has linked Premier League strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers. He spent time on loan at West Bromwich Albion last season, a spell that did not go to plan. A switch to the West Midlands would be a short move.
At 28, Armstrong may want his peak years at a higher level and could weigh his financial future, possibly outside the EFL. Southampton could also consider a sale, with his 11 goals arriving from an xG of 14.38.
