Adrián Liso on Valencia list as Getafe push to sign winger | OneFootball

Valencia have monitored Real Zaragoza winger Adrián Liso and keep him on their list, but Getafe are the keenest and in talks.

Heraldo de Aragón reported midweek that Valencia were among four LaLiga clubs tracking the left-footed 21-year-old, along with Rayo Vallecano, Sevilla and Mallorca, recently relegated.

Weeks ago Valencia sounded out Liso's camp about joining Carlos Corberán's side and know the conditions to move. They have, however, prioritised Largie Ramazani, on a Leeds United deal through June 2028.

CEO of Football Ron Gourlay is focused on trying to keep Guido Rodríguez, also courted by Villarreal with a smaller offer but Champions League football.

A starting right-back is sought before a winger after Thierry Rendall's exit and Dimitri Foulquier's lay-off until October or November. Andrés García and Thomas Meunier are the options.

Getafe aim to exploit Zaragoza's drop to Primera RFEF to cut a three million euros option to buy 50% of Liso's rights. At the Coliseum, Jose Bordalás values his work wide left and up front.

Liso has played more than 1,700 LaLiga minutes, his early form tailed off and he lost his place. The Spain under-20 international has still shown commitment, which Valencia staff noted.

Serie A clubs are also watching. Beyond an initial enquiry, Valencia have not advanced while others have.

Sporting director Lalo Arantegui has stressed Zaragoza will not give players away and do not plan to lower the three million price.
