Burkina Faso will compete in Group E of the Africa Cup of Nations alongside Algeria, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan.

The Stallions are set for their 14th AFCON appearance after competing in 1978, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2021, and 2023.

Their best result remains the runner-up finish in 2013, when they lost the final to the Super Eagles.
