The Indomitable Lions are set to play in their 22nd AFCON, following appearances in 1970, 1972, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.

Five-time champions (1984, 1988, 2000, 2002 and 2017), Cameroon will be aiming to reclaim continental glory despite the departure of Marc Brys.
