West Ham have reached an agreement with Brighton over the loan deal for Evan Ferguson.
The Republic of Ireland striker is expected to complete his move to east London for the remainder of the season tomorrow, with a medical already booked.
Reporting on The West Ham Way, club insider ExWHUEmployee has confirmed the deal has been agreed, with West Ham hoping he can prove his fitness which could possibly lead to a permanent move once the season concludes.
Brighton have finally agreed to sanction Evan Ferguson’s move to West Ham on a loan after their game against Nottingham Forest yesterday,” stated Ex.
“Negotiations have been ongoing for weeks now as we exclusively revealed at the start of the window and all possible deals were considered. A medical has been booked and the club are estimating that the deal will be completed tomorrow afternoon.
“We are waiting official confirmation from the top source at the club that this is the case, where we will check if it is just a straight loan deal or whether there is an option to buy. At the moment the deal seems to be a straight loan.
“West Ham are also hoping to push through the deal for Daniel Cummings from Celtic too but this would be likely to go through in the summer on a pre-contractual agreement.”
