Beginning in the summer of 2023, the Ligue 1 side said goodbye to Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr., and then a year later, Kylian Mbappé left. Paris Saint-Germain are focusing on young talent who have yet to reach their potential, but so far, none of these players would have the label of superstar.
The Brazilian left the French capital to join Al-Hilal for €90 million, but that move to Saudi Arabia hasn’t gone as planned. Neymar suffered a cruciate ligament tear that kept him out for an entire year.
Now that he has returned from his injury, the former PSG standout has again suffered another knock, this time a Hamstring injury will cause him to miss time. As a result, Al-Hilal is prepared to make a drastic decision.

UOL reports that Al-Hilal is planning to terminate Neymar’s contract in January. The club’s management is hoping for an amicable resolution after Neymar sustained another long-term injury. Santos FC is reportedly keeping an eye on the situation and is interested in bringing him back to Brazil.
Neymar has only made seven total appearances for Al-Hilal during his time there, scoring one goal and recording three assists in his tenure with the Saudi Arabian club.
