Al Hilal ‘to push for’ Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye | OneFootball

Al Hilal are pressing on with their push for attacking reinforcements beyond the Crysencio Summerville deal, and have set sights on Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye. Marca reports that the Saudi club are pushing to sign the Senegal international.

The club want a wide forward to add solutions in the final third. Everton’s stance and the financial package will decide if a transfer goes through.

Al Hilal regard Ndiaye as an ideal fit for Simone Inzaghi, thanks to his tactical flexibility. He can play on either flank, slip in behind the striker or operate as a roaming forward.

If completed, the move could see Ndiaye start on the right with Summerville on the left, with licence to swap and unsettle defences.

His value extends beyond dribbling, he reads the game well, creates chances and slides passes between the lines. That allows him to act as an advanced playmaker who builds attacks and threatens goals.

He is a major threat in transition too, with pace and runs in behind that align with Inzaghi’s quick-counter approach.

Across his career, Ndiaye has made 214 appearances in all competitions, scoring 44 and assisting 23, a total of 67 goal contributions.
