Leeds United Women completed a trio of new signings this week, with Alayna Millard becoming the third recruit through the door at Thorp Arch.
An attack minded full-back, Millard follows Chloe Dixon and Brittany Sanderson in joining the Whites as pre-season preparations continue for Simon Wood’s side.
After making the move from Barnsley FC, the defender is looking forward to pulling on the white jersey.
“It feels really good to be a Leeds player and I am excited to get started,” Millard explained.
“I feel like it is a step up coming here. It is very professional, the girls have been lovely and it will test my footballing ability more.
“Pre-season has been really good so far and everyone has been very welcoming. I have really enjoyed it so far.
“It will be good to be able to show what I can do in front of the fans and hopefully impress people.
“I like to race on when I can but I like defending as well, so I am happy doing a bit of both at full-back.”
