Alexandre Lacazette urges Corentin Tolisso’s France recall | OneFootball

Alexandre Lacazette, now with NEOM in Saudi Arabia, has urged a France recall for Corentin Tolisso, four months before the World Cup. The pair were team-mates at Lyon.

The striker posted an Instagram story calling for Tolisso’s return, captioning “@equipedefrance Allooo”. He shared Lyon’s post marking the midfielder’s 50th goal for the club. Lacazette made 391 appearances for OL.

Tolisso returned to Lyon in July 2022 after a five-year spell at Bayern Munich. A comeback to the national team has been widely discussed in recent months.

He has not been called up by Didier Deschamps since Euro 2021. He did not feature in the last-16 defeat to Switzerland, which was decided on penalties.

It is therefore five years since he last appeared for France. Tolisso has 28 caps and two goals.
