Alisson absent, Ekitike starts up front for Liverpool at Brighton | OneFootball

Liverpool visit Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, 13:30 kick-off, with Alisson absent and Giorgi Mamardashvili starting in goal.

According to L'Équipe, the Brazilian goalkeeper will be sidelined at least until the international break, and has said he will be out for a while.

Arne Slot sets up in a 4-2-3-1. Ibrahima Konaté starts in defence and Ekitike leads the line, with Dominik Szoboszlai operating just behind. Mohamed Salah is injured.

Liverpool are fifth, two points behind Aston Villa, and chase a positive result in a tight race for Champions League qualification. They are also set to meet Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals on 8 and 14 April.
