Football League World has asked AI to value all 24 League One clubs following the news that Wigan Athletic and Bradford City are up for sale
League One duo Bradford City and Wigan Athletic have different aspirations this season, but both clubs are united in the fact that they are currently for sale.
The Latics got the better of the Bantams at the Brick Community Stadium on 14 March, enjoying a 2-0 triumph, whereas the West Yorkshire outfit defeated their Greater Manchester counterparts 2-1 on home soil on Boxing Day.
However, Bradford are vying to secure back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship, while Wigan are battling to avoid relegation to the fourth tier.
As per The Athletic, both the Latics and the Bantams are for sale, and current owner Stefan Rupp wants at least £10million for the West Yorkshire side.
Meanwhile, Mike Danson could sell Wigan for less than £10m, having rescued the Brick Community Stadium from a winding-up petition in the summer of 2023.
Given the fact that the Latics have worked hard to achieve financial sustainability under Danson, whereas Bradford have progressed well under Rupp, supporters of both clubs will have been surprised by the news that their sides are for sale.
With potential takeover developments at both Wigan and the Bantams in mind, Football League World asked ChatGPT to value every League One club.

Wimbledon are enjoying a largely solid League One season following last season's promotion from League Two, and appear set to finish mid-table.
Meanwhile, ChatGPT thinks that buying the Dons would cost a prospective owner £4m.
Wimbledon are currently majority owned by the Dons Trust while, as reported by BBC Sport, the Plough Lane outfit's board have held talks with investors amid concerns their current model is not sustainable.

According to AI, Burton Albion are the second-cheapest club to buy in League One.
Having narrowly avoided relegation to League Two in each of the last two seasons, the Brewers are once again battling for their third-tier status.

Exeter City's League One survival chances have been damaged by the fact that their former boss, Gary Caldwell, left the Grecians to return to Wigan in February.
ChatGPT has valued the Devon club, who were promoted from League Two in 2022, at £5m.
Similarly to Wimbledon, the Grecians are owned by the Exeter City Supporters' Trust, but as reported by BBC Sport, former chairman Richard Pym resigned in early February, with financial issues threatening the South West side's future.

Northampton Town are the second League One club that AI has valued at the £5m mark.
The Cobblers face an uphill battle to avoid relegation to League Two for the first time since winning promotion from the fourth tier in 2023, while former boss Kevin Nolan was sacked following a woeful run of just one win in 16 games.

Stevenage are impressively punching above their weight in the third tier this season, and could seal promotion to the Championship via the play-offs.
ChatGPT has estimated that a takeover of the Hertfordshire club would cost £5.5m, while Alex Revell's men would be a more tempting purchase if they clinched promotion to the second tier.

Nigel Clough's Mansfield Town were recently under the national spotlight when they hosted Premier League title hopefuls Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth round.
Clough's men were ultimately beaten 2-1 by the Gunners after putting up a valiant fight, while AI values the One Call Stadium club at £6m.

Doncaster Rovers are hoping to retain their League One status after winning the League Two title last season.
The South Yorkshire club are worth £6.5m according to ChatGPT.

As previously mentioned, Rupp wants £10m for Bradford, should a suitor lodge an interest in a takeover.
However, AI thinks that the Bantams are worth just £7m, but winning promotion from League One to the Championship would likely make Rupp's valuation more realistic.

ChatGPT believes that Port Vale are worth the same amount as Bradford, even though the Staffordshire club appear destined for an unwanted League Two return.
Vale have enjoyed much greater success in the FA Cup this season, and have an exciting quarter-final trip to Chelsea on Easter weekend.

Lincoln City have been the story of the League One season, as they are closing in on an automatic promotion to the Championship that few would have predicted at the beginning of the campaign.
Amid the Imps' third-tier title battle, AI has outlined that a takeover of the Sincil Bank side would cost £7.5m.
