Allan calls Flamengo injury spell an outlier as Corinthians loan begins | OneFootball

Allan said his injury troubles at Flamengo were an outlier and rejected suggestions he is fragile, speaking to the media on Tuesday.

According to Coluna Do Fla, he spoke at a press conference on Tuesday. Allan had been at Flamengo since 2023 but never established a run, and was placed on the 2026 transfer list after the 2025 campaign.

He said his first muscle injury came at Flamengo, he could not correct it and suffered two more. By contrast, at Atlético and Fluminense he was among the most used players, generally managing only discomforts, and felt the sequence at Flamengo went wrong.

Allan has joined Corinthians on loan until the end of this season. Corinthians hold a first option to buy for €2 million, about R$ 12 million at the current rate.

Meanwhile, Flamengo are focused on the Recopa Sudamericana final, hosting Lanús of Argentina at the Maracanã on Thursday 26 at 21:30 Brasília time.
