The result in Hamburg left both manager, Vincent Kompany, and record signing, Harry Kane, feeling rather frustrated. Indeed, both cut irritated figures on camera after the full-time whistle, with some suggestion of dark arts from the hosts (and poor officiating) at play.

The Bavarian giants remain firmly at the top of the Bundesliga table, though such results will only encourage chasing outfit Borussia Dortmund.
