Manchester United handed Arsenal a 3-2 defeat at Emirates Stadium this evening, with the Red Devils leaving it late to secure crucial three points away from home.
The Gunners opened the lead 29 minutes into the game through an own goal from Lisandro Martinez, but Bryan Mbeumo drew Man United level shortly afterwards.
The Red Devils took the lead five minutes after play restarted in the second-half, but Mikel Merino equalised for Arsenal in the 84th minute and the hosts sought a winner.
However, Man United got the last laugh, with Matheus Cunha scoring the winner in the 87th minute to break the hearts of Mikel Arteta and his men.
Amad Diallo took to social media platform X afterwards to mock Arsenal in his reply to a Gunners fan who had predicted a 4-0 victory for the North Londoners.
It is unknown whether the post was made by the Man United attacker or if it was one of his media aides making a jest of Arsenal.
His account may have been hacked as well, but players have often taken to social media to mock their rivals after games and this could be the case.
Man United have impressed under head coach Michael Carrick and he is boosting his chances of getting the job permanently at the end of the season with these results.
They secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester City last weekend at Old Trafford and have followed it up with a superb performance against league leaders Arsenal.
The Red Devils return to action next Sunday when they host Fulham, and another victory will be huge for Carrick and his men.
They play Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Everton afterwards, and they could actually win five games in a row for the first time in two years if they can maintain this current momentum.
