DH Les Sports reports that Anderlecht have secured the loan of Alavés centre-back Moussa Diarra for the rest of the season, with an option to buy. Le Soir says the move comes amid a shortage of defenders since the start of the campaign, and notes the team, coached by Albanian Besnik Hasi, has been under scrutiny for poor results.
It is the second outgoing confirmed this January, so there is an expectation that Coudet will receive reinforcements in the final days of the window.
The left-footed 25-year-old has played only five matches and 399 minutes for Alavés this season. The Brussels club revived an interest first shown last summer, this time successfully.
Alavés continue to raise funds, having sold Panichelli for 17 million, Mouriño for 4 and Conechny for 3 in the summer, plus the income now from Carlos Vicente. They also spent 10 million, including Boyé 6, Enríquez 3 and Aleñá 1.
Diarra would be the third winter addition for Anderlecht, who are fourth in Belgium, 10 points off the leaders. The club have also added German goalkeeper Justin Heekeren, back-up to Colin Coosemans, and Ukrainian striker Danylo Sikan.
