Club América have parted company with head coach André Jardine, ending a glittering spell in charge.
The club said in a post that Jardine’s time had concluded, thanking him after six championships, including a historic Liga MX tricampeonato.
Jardine arrived in June 2023 and quickly built a dominant side. América lifted the Liga MX titles in Apertura 2023, Clausura 2024 and Apertura 2024, making him the first manager to achieve a tricampeonato in the short‑tournament era.
He also added the Campeón de Campeones 2024, the Supercopa de la Liga MX 2024 and the Campeones Cup 2024, taking his tally to six official trophies. During his tenure he oversaw more than 150 competitive matches and recorded over 70 wins.
The decision comes as the club seek changes ahead of the new season.
There are rumours that Guillermo Almada could replace Jardine, although nothing has been decided. The squad are due to report back in Coapa on 8 June, and the new head coach is expected to be presented that day.
