Andre Onana has had a mixed time during his loan at Trabzonspor.
On the one hand, he has helped his side to third place in the league, just three points behind the unbeaten Fenerbahce.
Nonetheless, he has also conceded numerous goals and made some trademark mistakes along the way.
On Monday evening, Onana’s side ran out 3-1 winners. The Cameroonian made five stops, with four of them coming from inside the penalty area.
His first stop came inside 10 minutes when he made himself big to block a one-on-one attempt.
He made a mistake early on in the first half when his clearance went straight to a player from the home team, but he finally made a smart save to deny a header at the end of the move.
Onana conceded late on after 82 minutes, with his team already 3-0 up.
The ball was squared across goal and German Onugkha made no mistake from close range, leaving Onana with no chance of keeping his clean sheet.
Onana was successful in all of his run-out attempts and high claims to take the pressure away from his defence when necessary. In addition, he made one clearance during the game.
He completed 87% of his passes and carried the ball forward on seven occasions. The keeper also made seven recoveries in the match.
Trabzonspor will next be in action when they host Rizespor on Saturday afternoon, looking to chase down second place in the league.
