Andreas Pereira injures shoulder, leaves Palmeiras v Santos after 15 minutes | OneFootball

Andreas Pereira was forced off after 15 minutes of Palmeiras v Santos at Arena Barueri on Wednesday, suffering a right shoulder problem in the second round of the Campeonato Paulista.

According to Globo.com, the discomfort followed a foul by Igor Vinícius on the left flank. He fell, hit his shoulder on the turf, received immediate treatment, then was replaced by Larson.

Palmeiras have been on alert over injuries at the start of the season.

Head coach Abel Ferreira believes the squad will reach its best physical level from February, if injuries do not occur.

Those currently sidelined are: Jefté, rested, Felipe Anderson, left ankle sprain, Figueiredo and Lucas Evangelista, in physical transition, Facundo Torres, left thigh injury, and Paulinho, surgery on his right leg.
