Andrew surprised by Flamengo tribute at Ninho do Urubu on return to training | OneFootball

Flamengo’s squad reported back on Thursday 12 with focus on the Carioca, and at Ninho do Urubu goalkeeper Andrew was surprised by a club tribute. According to Coluna Do Fla, a framed photo of him was unveiled inside the complex.

The frame shows him during the 7-1 win over Sampaio Corrêa in the Carioca.

The keeper joined this window, is the immediate understudy to Rossi, and has two appearances. His first came in the defeat to Fluminense in the Carioca, the second in the 7-1 against Sampaio Corrêa in the final round of the State Championship.

On arrival he spoke of fulfilling dreams in the Flamengo shirt, his parents were Flamengo supporters, and his mother once worked at Gávea, the club’s social headquarters.

With Andrew honoured and available, Flamengo face Botafogo on Sunday 15 in the Carioca quarter-finals, kick-off 17:30 Brasília time at Estádio Nilton Santos.
